Leadership Team

The Ivernia leadership team is made up of experienced general insurance executives, all of whom have operated in senior roles in major insurance companies and loss adjusting businesses. The team has accumulated significant experience in underwriting, actuarial, finance, claims, distribution and marketing which is now being applied to the benefit of brokers and consumers in this new underwriting agency. The leadership team are supported by the Board of Directors.

John Gregan

Head of Product & Pricing

John is the Head of Product & Pricing at Ivernia. With over 25 years in general insurance, John has a wealth of experience in the industry and has taken on various roles in the past including managerial roles in both personal lines and pricing. Prior to his arrival, John was a director in several areas including finance, claims, personal lines products (Aviva Europe), as well as being Head of Commercial Underwriting and Pricing.

Liam O’Neill

Head of Claims

Liam has served in senior claims management and operations roles in the Insurance Industry in Ireland and the UK for the last 15 years. Throughout his career, he has become an experienced consultant and specialist in motor and liability claims. He has had significant involvement in major claims heading up the motor large loss division in Liberty Insurance. Prior to working in the insurance industry Liam has held a wide breadth of senior leadership, commercial and Managing Director positions across industry both in Ireland and the UK. Liam will bring this leadership experience to facilitate growth of the Ivernia business and customer excellence in the claims management approach.

 

Graeme Murdock

Head of Underwriting

Graeme is the Head of Underwriting at Ivernia. With over 20 years in general experience and 10 years in senior underwriting roles, including Motor Portfolio Lead in Zurich Insurance and Portfolio and Underwriting Manager at Footprint Underwriting. Graeme brings leadership and technical experience to drive profitable growth of the Ivernia business.

 

Shane Scannell

Chief Financial Officer

Shane is the Chief Financial Officer at Ivernia. Shane has over 12 years of experience within the Financial Services sector having worked directly as a business partner to the CEO, COO and Chief of Staff of Credit Suisse’s UK Wealth Management arm prior to joining Ivernia. Shane trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with KPMG in Dublin and is also a Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA) from the Institute of Banking.

 

Annette Adams

Head Of Claims

Annette is Head of Claims at Ivernia. With over 30 years’ experience in general Insurance, having held a number of senior roles, including Claims Manager in Aviva insurance, Head of Claims Operations in Zurich Insurance and a number of consulting roles including FBD Insurance. She brings claims technical and operational expertise and has successfully delivered a number of large change transformation programs. Annette brings her leadership and technical expertise to drive customer excellence in the claims management approach.
